Very cool indeed. No polishing of the badges is key. That's what happened to my cam cover, granted I just have the standard triangular badge, but your cover will look great with polish all around the badges. Looking great!
Interesting second badge there, any idea where it's from (yeah, Oregon...) or should I say ,what it signifies..? Yep would be a shame to obliterate it on a polishing wheel. When I got my TR-6 head done years ago, I went to great pains to not have the original finish blasted off when they cleaned the ports and combustion chambers. I prefer the natural wear and tear...
yeah me too! The wear & tear look is perfect. I'd guess it is a dealer tag. Some dealers would put tags on their motorcycles. Much like Harley-Davidson dealers would do.
