Very cool indeed. No polishing of the badges is key. That's what happened to my cam cover, granted I just have the standard triangular badge, but your cover will look great with polish all around the badges. Looking great!
Stretch, Your exactly right! I agree!
Interesting second badge there, any idea where it's from (yeah, Oregon...) or should I say ,what it signifies..? Yep would be a shame to obliterate it on a polishing wheel. When I got my TR-6 head done years ago, I went to great pains to not have the original finish blasted off when they cleaned the ports and combustion chambers. I prefer the natural wear and tear...
yeah me too! The wear & tear look is perfect. I'd guess it is a dealer tag. Some dealers would put tags on their motorcycles. Much like Harley-Davidson dealers would do.
TRIUMPH PRE UNIT TIMING COVER WITH A RARE CONNELLY RACING CAMS TAG. WELL KNOWN CAMS FOR US BOYS IN THE NORTH WEST AND A COOL PIECE OF MOTORCYCLE HISTORY.
